The NAIT Landscape Architectural Technology Program is pleased to invite you and your guest to join us at the new Centre for Applied Technology (CAT) in Edmonton, Alberta, for our first alumni homecoming extravaganza.

Our graduates are relevant, skilled professionals who have been positively and humbly impacting the landscape architectural industry across Canada and internationally since 1976. We want to know more about where our graduates are and what roles they have been filling since graduation.

We welcome alumni, industry associates, students other special guests to participate in a full day of celebration at the beautiful new NAIT Centre for Applied Technology.

About the
NAIT LAT Program
Our students are trained to use technologies such as drafting software, computer rendering software and virtual reality tools and apply them to the practice of landscape architecture. The students will combine their understanding of technology with natural process to create successful outdoor built environments.
Graduates are valued for their understanding of the built environment, their proficiency at creating technical products and their project administrative skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates gain employment with landscape architectural firms, planning firms, municipalities, government agencies, non-profit groups and many other agencies.

Alumni Breakfast and Building Tours

Presented by PlayWorks Inc., this drop-in breakfast is an opportunity to meet with other alumni and join us for tours of the beautiful new Centre for Applied Technology at NAIT. Stops on the tour include the virtual reality grading sandbox, a classroom walk through and much more.
Lunch with Friends

On your own, make arrangements to meet up with past classmates and friends for lunch at the various restaurant options in the area, both on and off campus. Visit Ernest’s for fine dining, or try out The Nest or Mercante for more casual fare. Reservations may be required.

Do you still have what it takes? Join us for an afternoon of fun and camaraderie with the students as you work together to complete various landscape architectural tasks. Bragging rights only- no one will fail!
Industry Night

Presented by the Alberta Association of Landscape Architects, join the graduating class of 2017 in this showcase of student work and accomplishments. Students will be featuring their portfolios during this wine and cheese affair.

Presented by Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc., this business casual dinner event will be the outing of the season. If you can only participate in one of our activities, make sure you attend this. The evening will begin with cocktails, followed by a full dinner and evening program. The program will be followed by entertainment and dessert. Join alumni, industry associates, students, municipal representatives and other special guests for an evening of celebration, entertainment and revelry.
